23 – 25 maggio | Superstudio Più, Milano

After the great success of the last three editions, the fourth annual event of MIA Photo Fair has achieved very good results with 20,000 visitors in 3 days and 180 exhibitors established in the Italian and international photography scenario, including young artists or newcomers on the stage of art.

The cultural program of this edition was characterized in particular by the alternation of interesting appointments such as conferences, lectio magistralis and performance of video art and music that has been the protagonists of Florentine art videos Pastis accompanying the famous singer Irene Grandi, a collaboration that declares the birth of a marriage that can produce a new form of artistic expression.

Also in this edition, the publishing industry has confirmed a great deal of attention by the public and many collectors, giving visibility to young Italian and international publishers of the highest level, little known in our territory, such as the Dutch of Fw: Books, the English publisher Trolley books and the French Aman Iman Publishing.

About awards, excellent results are reported for the winners of the different categories (Premio BNL Gruppo BNP Paribas, Codice MIA, “Tempo ritrovato – Fotografie da non perdere”). Of particular interest in this area, is the initiative of the “Premio Mila Malerba”, with an exhibition set up by Fondo Malerba per la Fotografia.
