"Questo è uno scatto interpretativo dell’opera di Michele DeLucchi in mostra da Parallel, in scala 1:1. “Cosa sta ideando? Cosa sta progettando?”
E’ una metafora che intende descrivere la mente creativa di Michele DeLucchi, iper-attiva e sempre in fermento, con un richiamo anche alle sue capacità manuali di creare opere di legno. Michele costruisce i suoi modelli con le sue mani, la mente crea idee e le mani le realizzano.

It is a metaphor that intends to describe the creative mind of Michele DeLucchi, hyper-active and always fertile, with a reference also to his manual skills to create wooden artworks. Michele builds his models with his hands, his mind creates ideas and his hands realize them.

"Tom Vack è un fotografo autodidatta nato a Chicago dove ha frequentato la Facoltà di Architettura e Design alla University of Illinois Chicago Circle. Ha lavorato negli USA fino al 1987, prevalentemente collaborando con noti graphic designers, successivamente si è trasferito in Europa, vivendo tra l’Italia e la Germania. Ha lavorando con rinomati designers e architetti quali Michele De Lucchi, Ingo Maurer, Philippe Starck, Ron Arad, Marc Newson, Luigi Colani, Alessandro Mendini, Andrea Branzi e Toshi Kita.
Nel novembre 2014 il Neue Sammlung – The International Design Museum Munich,
gli ha dedicato un’esaustiva retrospettiva, una mostra sul suo lavoro intitolata “Vanity of Object. Tom Vack Design Photography”. Attraverso più di 200 immagini, la mostra ha descritto il suo modo personale di comunicare il design d'avanguardia dagli anni ‘80 ad oggi.
Dal 2013 ha avviato un percorso parallelo rispetto alla fotografia di design, creando una collezione chiamata "OPenEYe, Art Project". Negli anni a seguire ha partecipato a Mia Photo Fair con la Galleria Paola Colombari/Milano e Photo Basel Virtual Edition con la Clair Gallerie /Zurich, oltre a mostre collettive a Milano, Chicago, Gerusalemme e Berlino.

"Tom Vack is a autodidact photographer born in Chicago where he studied Architecture and Design at the University of Illinois Chicago Circle. He worked in USA from 1970 to
1987, collaborating with well-known graphic designers, then he moved to Europe, living in Italy and Germany. He has been working with renowned designers and architects such as Michele De Lucchi, Ingo Maurer, Philippe Starck, Ron Arad, Marc Newson, Luigi Colani, Alessandro Mendini, Andrea Branzi, Toshi Kita and others.
In 2014 the Neue Sammlung-The International Design Museum Munich, dedicated to him a comprehensive retrospective exhibition about his work called “Vanity of Object. Tom Vack Design Photography”. With more than 200 pictures, it has described his personal way of communicating avant-garde design from theeighties to the present.
Since 2013 he has started a parallel path with respect to design and architecture photography, creating a collection called "OPenEYe, Art Project". In 2018, during Milano Photo Festival, his first solo exhibition called "OPenEYe | double visions" took place. In the following years he partecipated in Mia Photo Fair with Paola Colombari Gallery/Milan and Photo Basel Virtual Edition with Clair Gallerie /Zurich, as well as some collective exhibitions in Milan, Chicago, Jerusalem and Berlin.
