The Argentinian artist dedicated his lifelong practice to shed light on the fight against global political repression, apartheid in South Africa and the German genocide in Namibia.

In his series "1968 The Fire of Ideas", Brodsky combines archive images from this time of upheaval. By adding color and text elements later, Brodsky emphasizes the emotionality of the protests and the worldwide striving for social change.
The series was shown extensively in Europe, Latin America and the United States.
