Nel lavoro del Di Cera osserviamo appunto i non-luoghi nel loro mutamento continuo ed altalenante. Le stagioni cambiano il paesaggio in modo ripetitivo e ciclico, restituendo, nel contempo, la loro naturale diversità. Alla stessa stregua del viaggio del pendolare, continuo e monotono, ma diversificato da tanti dettagli e particolari. Ed è in tal modo che vengono ripresi ed immortalati i paesaggi, fotografati attraverso il finestrino del treno in modo ripetitivo e costante, in un analogismo costante con il pendolarismo. La fotografia diventa, nella sua trasformazione in opera d’arte, un nuovo modo di misurare la dimensione spazio-tempo: attraverso il suo mutamento.

In Di Cera's work we observe the non-places in their continuous change and swinging. The seasons change the landscape in a repetitive and cyclical way, returning, in the at the same time, their natural diversity. In the same way as the commuter's journey, I continue and monotonous, but diversified by many details and details. And it is in this way that landscapes are captured and immortalized, photographed through the train window in a repetitive and constant way, in a constant analogism with the commuting. In its transformation into a work of art, photography becomes a new way of measuring space-time dimension: through its change.

Nato a Milano nel 1981, Jacopo ha lavorato per anni come responsabile marketing nelle principali aziende multinazionali. Ha studiato con grandi fotografi internazionali con i quali ha avuto modo di sperimentare e di confrontarsi. Ha esposto i suoi lavori a Roma al Museo di Roma in Trastevere e a Palazzo Valentini con un importante progetto su Gerusalemme. Nel 2010 vince il prestigioso quarto posto al concorso del National Geographic. Ha partecipato ad esposizioni e fiere italiane e internazionali (MIA -Milano; Palazzo Velli Expò - Roma; Les rencontres de la photographie - Arles; Festival Con_vivere - Carrara; PAN - Napoli; Paratissima - Torino; Fotofever (Paris Photo) - Parigi).
Le sue fotografie sono presenti in alcune gallerie in Italia e all’estero.

Born in Milan in 1981, Jacopo worked for years as a marketing manager in the main multinational companies. He studied with great international photographers with whom he had the opportunity to experiment and compare. He exhibited his works in Rome at the Museo di Roma in Trastevere and at Palazzo Valentini with an important project on Jerusalem. In 2010 he won the prestigious fourth place in the National Geographic competition. He has participated in Italian and international exhibitions and fairs (MIA - Milan; Palazzo Velli Expò - Rome; Les rencontres de la photographie - Arles; Festival Con_vivere - Carrara; PAN - Naples; Paratissima - Turin; Fotofever (Paris Photo) - Paris).
His photographs are present in some galleries in Italy and abroad.
