Il lavoro di Caroline è stato esposto in mostre individuali & colletive, fiere e festivals come Fix Photo Festival, London (UK); Milan Photofestival, Milan (IT); Photolux Festival, Lucca (IT); Map Festival, Toulouse (FR); Mont-Blanc Photo Festival, St Gervais (FR); Fondazione Serbelloni, Milan (IT); Italian Embassy, London (UK); Italian Cultural Institute, London (UK); Musee de L’Ermitage du Calvaire, Megève (FR); Pavia’s Town Hall, Pavia (IT); Fotofever, Paris (FR); MIA Fair, Milan (IT); Fairfax Gallery, London (UK); Luisa Catucci Gallery, Berlin (DE); The Brick Lane Gallery, London (UK); Air Gallery, London (UK); The Space Gallery, Milan (IT); Speos Gallery, Paris (FR); Stamberga Gallery, Milan (IT). Ha ricevuto diversi premi come il Grand Prize al Fix Photo Festival Awards, London UK (2017); Proposta MIA Award al MIA Photo Fair, Milan Italy (2017); e Award al Mont-Blanc Photo Festival, St Gervais, France (2012).

Caroline Gavazzi is a French/Italian photographer based in Milan.

She spent the early years of her studies between Paris, where she graduated in Urbanism at the Sorbonne, and London, where she obtained a Master’s degree in Professional Photography at the LCC (London College of Communication). Caroline worked as Picture Coordinator in the Art Department at Vogue UK and as Picture Editor for the Harvey Nichols magazine. At the same time she started her freelance journey as a photographer for interiors, portraits, and still life for magazines such as Vogue UK, House & Garden, Tatler, Condé Nast Traveller & Elle, to mention a few.

Her exploration of image gradually led her away from the commercial practice to a deeper personal path seeking new forms of expression using photography as her main media.

Gavazzi’s work is influenced by the challenges of everyday life. She explores the contrasts, embellishing those realities through visual metaphors and aesthetic elements. She creates three-dimensional photographic installations that lever on the visual displacement created by layers of material, thus involving spectators, inducing them to approach and critically share the questions raised by her research.

Caroline’s work has been exhibited in solo & collective exhibitions, fairs and festivals such as Fix Photo Festival, London (UK); Milan Photofestival, Milan (IT); Photolux Festival, Lucca (IT); Map Festival, Toulouse (FR); Mont-Blanc Photo Festival, St Gervais (FR); Fondazione Serbelloni, Milan (IT); Italian Embassy, London (UK); Italian Cultural Institute, London (UK); Musee de L’Ermitage du Calvaire, Megève (FR); Pavia’s Town Hall, Pavia (IT); Fotofever, Paris (FR); MIA Fair, Milan (IT); Fairfax Gallery, London (UK); Luisa Catucci Gallery, Berlin (DE); The Brick Lane Gallery, London, (UK); Air Gallery, London (UK); The Space Gallery, Milan (IT) Speos Gallery, Paris (FR); Stamberga Gallery, Milan (IT). She has been awarded several prizes such as Grand Prize at Fix Photo Festival Awards, London, UK (2017); Proposta MIA Award at MIA Photo Fair, Milan, Italy (2017); and Award at the Mont-Blanc Photo Festival, St Gervais, France (2012).
