Into The Silence .

Into The Silence. Hermits of the Third Millennium
A photographic journey to discover the modern hermits and their radical choice in contrast to the noise of our life.
From Italy to the United States, from England to Georgia, France, India and Greece, these mysterious lovers of silence live in caves, in campers lost in the desert, in monasteries torn from the madness of wars. There are those who keep thousands of books in their hermitage, those who live on a rocky appendage tens of meters high, those who once a rock musician are now a Benedictine monk and those who contemplate the greatness of the Himalayan mountains every day. All a little bit islands, and like islands surrounded by the vast and mysterious sea of human spirituality.
