L'artista ha condotto ricerche approfondite che lo hanno portato alla creazione di questi ritratti durante il periodo di lockdown del 2020.

Nato nel 1952 a Montreal (Canada), Bill Armstrong vive e lavora a New York. Dopo gli studi in Storia dell’Arte si dedica alla fotografia. Dal 1997 lavora alla serie Infinity, che raccoglie fotografie fuori fuoco realizzate con l’obiettivo puntato all’infinito. Con questa particolare tecnica i soggetti si smaterializzano, diventano evanescenti, si trasformano in forma e colore.

Born in 1952 in Montreal (Canada), Bill Armstrong lives and works in New York. After studying Art History he devoted himself to photography. Since 1997 he has been working on the Infinity series, which collects out of focus photographs taken with the lens aimed at infinity. With this particular technique, the subjects dematerialize, become evanescent, transform in shape and color.
