Tecniche antiche, per soggetti femminili all’apparenza fermi nello spazio e nel tempo, che sembrano però svelarsi lentamente per scoprire la propria nudità. I contrasti creano attese, mostrano emozioni, espongono un messaggio universale di bellezza. Angoli, curve, forme, rivelano i loro più intimi segreti: ogni foto racconta una storia, con l’approccio unico e delicato delle preziose stampe a mano. Ogni scatto è il racconto di una movenza leggera e accennata, in cui bianco e nero si fondono per enfatizzare tutti i dettagli.
Antique techniques, for female subjects apparently still in space and time, who seem to reveal themselves slowly to discover their nudity. The contrasts create expectations, show emotions, expose a universal message of beauty. Corners, curves, shapes, reveal their most intimate secrets: each photo tells a story, with the unique and delicate approach of precious hand prints. Each shot is the story of a light and hinted movement, in which black and white blend to emphasize all the details.

Andrea Cittadini è nato a Spoleto nel 1977.
È un fotografo poliedrico e le sue opere spaziano dalla natura morta al ritratto. Stampa personalmente le sue fotografie con tecniche analogiche che spaziano dai sai d'argento all'antico Van Dyke.
Le opere realizzate con la tecnica del collodio umido nascono da fotocamere di grandi dimensioni che Andrea ha progettato e realizzato per proporre formati particolari e fuori standard.
Ha lavorato attivamente sui set della Haute Couture a Milano e come fotografo di scena su set cinematografici.
E' attivo nella conservazione e divulgazione della conoscenza delle antiche tecniche di stampa e fotografia.
Andrea Cittadini was born in Spoleto in 1977.
He is a polyhedral photographer and his works range from still life to portrait. He personally prints his photographs with analogical techniques ranging from modern baryta paper and ancient Van Dyke. The works created with the wet collodion technique are born from large fomat cameras that Andrea has designed and built in order to propose particular and non-standard formats.
He has actively worked on the sets of Haute Couture in Milan and as a stage photographer on film sets. Andrea is active in the conservation and divulgation of the knowledge of ancient printing and photography techniques through workshops, demonstrations and masterclasses.
