Heather F. Wetzel was born in Hawaii. She equally concerned with the object and alternative methods of display, and with how her chosen materials support concept and content. „Salvage” is made of wet plate collodion photographic drawing on recycled and japanned can lid. By using a circular format of varying diameters, these photogenic drawings become little worlds. The plant material used to create the imagery indicates growth, biodiversity, and potential regeneration.
