Vulù ? Is it his first name ? His family name ? His surname ? It’s already a mystery…
Who is Vulù exactly ? A nomad, a fencer, a singer, an actor, a photographer , a painter, a squatter… No matter what, he is a polymorphous artist and a free man !
He was born on August the 16th 1976 in Normandy (France). His parents are filled with aesthetic sense and thus introduce him very early to arts and culture.
He started drawing when he was very little. People said he was gifted.
He grew up in France, Canada, the United States, Italy and Belgium.
Vulù the nomad had to learn to live at times either a very easy wealthy life or at other times a very simple life depending on his father’ various financial fortunes.
One day, his brother bought him a camera for his birthday. It seemed like nothing, but it was going to be everything. His path was starting to take shape. He took pictures but reality
didn’t interest him. He needed to re invent, reshape, transform, give his own vision. He discovered that drawing – which he had never given up – and photography could interact and
become the means of giving shape to his visions and his imagination.
