Courtesy Toni Amengual
Toni AMENGUAL (1980) is a visual activist who seeks to impact the viewer in an immediate way. Amengual is not subject to the present but tracks its own themes (marriage, solitude, political corruption, weapons...) and deals them with a strong chiaroscuro style, as polarized as today's society. Present in outstanding collections, such as the MoMA in New York and the CCCB in Barcelona, his photobooks Pain, 2014, and Devotos, 2015, have received numerous awards and recognitions.
