Sofia Uslenghi was born in Italy in 1985. The photographs exhibited, presented as diptychs, triptychs and polyptychs, run through different projects. Her work constantly explores the possibility for the “subject" to be present and evade its own meaning at the same time, managing to build not only what it states but also what it denies. Despite the use of cheap modern digital cameras, Sofia is very skilled in post-processing, leading to a consistent but fresh body of work.
