The Advisory Committee MIA Photo Fair is the body that advises the programming and the selection of MIA Photo Fair Milan.

Gigliola Foschi, Selection Committee MIA Photo Fair.
Curator and art critic. She taught History of Photography at the European Institute for Design and at the Italian Institute of Photography, both in Milan. She collaborates with the daily newspaper L’Unità and with many international magazines of art and photography. Her essays have been published in various books and catalogues. She has curated numerous exhibits in public and private spaces. She is in charge of the Portfolio Europa project for Fotografia Europea Festival in Reggio Emilia.
Degree in Photography & Multimedia at the University of Westminster in London. From 1995 to 1997 she worked at the gallery Michael Hoppen Photography (London), organizing many exhibitions and as responsible of collectors’ liaisons. She was director of Hulton Getty Gallery (London), a project by Mark Getty and Michael Hoppen aiming to sell and promote limited edition prints part of the Getty Images Archive. In 1999 collaborated with the gallery Photology (Milan), in organizing the exhibition “100 al 2000” (Bologna). From 2006 to 2010 she collaborated with the fair MINT (Milan), curating the Fund Raising activity and the Communication. She collaborated with Robilant-Voena gallery (London) for Julian Schnabel exhibition in Italy (2005, Rome Palazzo Venece, 2007, Milan Rotonda della Besana, 2011, Venice Museo Correr).
Lawyer, qualified in Italy since 1991, former Chairman of the Committee “Art, Cultural Institutions and Heritage Law” of IBA, International Bar Association. Law degree, post-graduation degree in EU Law and Economics, Summer IP Academy at the Bocconi University, semester at the Kings College University in London. More than 20 years of practicing experience of heritage property and the art market, focusing in particular on art law, intellectual property and copyright. Author of various articles and speaker at numerous international and national conferences on art law and art-related topics. Lecturer in various university courses and masters, in Italy and abroad (including Icom General Conference, University of Milan, LUISS, Bocconi, IULM) on art law and intellectual property.
Caterina Mocenni Folonari, External Relations MIA Photo Fair.
Degree in Lettere Moderne at the Università Statale in Milan and post-graduate course in Communication. She has collaborated with publishing houses and cinema production houses. Since 2008 she has collaborated to the organization of cultural events and art fairs in Milan. She collaborates with not for profit association in fund raising.
Roberto Mutti, Selection Committee Galleries and MIA Proposal.
Curator, photographic critic on the Milan pages of the daily “La Repubblica”, he collaborates with various newspapers of the sector. He has given seminars on the History of the Photographic Language at the l’Università dell’Immagine, the European Institute of Design, the Open Mind School of Milan and, currently, at the Accademia della Scala and the Italian Institute of Photography. He has collaborated with various reviews (Toscana Foto Festival, Savignano Immagine, Foiano Fotografia of which he was artistic director for seven years). Currently he is consultant for institutions such as the Regional Council of Basilicata, the Fondazione 3M Italia and various private galleries. As independent critic he curated exhibits and reviews in Italy and abroad.
Enrica Viganò, Selection Committee Galleries and MIA Proposal, Special Projects and Codice MIA coordinator.
Curator and photographic critic, she organizes cultural events connected with photography on an international level. She directed the activities of the Gallery Il Diaframma-Kodak Cultura for five years. In 1997 she founded the agency ADMIRA, joined in 2003 by Admira Edizioni and in 2009 ADMIRA +, cultural association non-profit. Since 1998 she has been collaborating with Photo España ans has started her art advisory activity. Since 2001 she has been artistic director of FOTO&PHOTO and artistic director of ClicArt, gallery devoted to emerging photographers with headquarters in Milan. In 2011 the Lucie Awards included her among the nominees for the category “Curator/Exhibition of the Year”. She has curated many publications in Italy and abroad.
